Revelation 17 & 18

Here is a treatise on the Great Babylon chapters of Revelation chapters 17 and 18 (KJV). Why only chapters 17 and 18 of Revelation? Because on these two chapters hinge the exposure of Babylon the Great, and it is this revelation of the last days Babylon that will force the Body of Christ to make difficult yet necessary decisions in the very near future

Church leaders will have the responsibility to expose this whore for who she really is, the Church body will have to respond in spirit and truth and our overall Church attitude and commitments will have to be reevaluated.

Heed this warning. . . .

Chapter 17 1 And there came one of the seven angels which had the seven vials, and talked with me, saying unto me, Come hither; I will shew unto thee the judgment of the great whore that sitteth upon many waters:	Just as the Lord has his virgin girl so does the devil have his perverted counterfeit. The devil has his whore, the whore that is now exposed in these last days after being hidden for millennia. This whore has been masked by the kingdoms of the world beginning with historical, Ancient Babylon. No wonder the devil was able to offer Jesus the kingdoms of this world during the Temptation atop the Temple.
2 With whom the kings of the earth have committed fornication, and the inhabitants of the earth have been made drunk with the wine of her fornication.	The rulers of the ages along with the heathens of the world have been this whore's subjects and victims . The "drunkenness" is the blindness that keeps people from seeing her true nature. The "fornication" are the unholy alliances and the selling of one's soul for gain. It's interesting to note that "fornication" is mentioned 6 times in chapters 17 and 18 of Revelation. It is also the most widely mentioned sin in the New Testament.
3 So he carried me away in the spirit into the wilderness: and I saw a woman sit upon a scarlet coloured beast, full of names of blasphemy, having seven heads and ten horns.	This woman is the embodiment of the devil's woman and she is characterized by the capital of the leading Babylonian nation, the USA. Actually, the entire world system is now Babylon the Great which is led by the USA's "New World Order". This revelation is revealed in the last verse of chapter 17. Also, Blasphemy is her key sinful characteristic. See the section on The Antichrist. In contrast, God has his woman in Jerusalem.
4 And the woman was arrayed in purple and scarlet colour, and decked with gold and precious stones and pearls, having a golden cup in her hand full of abominations and filthiness of her fornication:	The Babylonian systems of the world have always emphasized the physical over the eternal, the temporal over the spiritual. The thin veneer of worldliness hides the true colors of sin and deception.
5 And upon her forehead was a name written, MYSTERY, BABYLON THE GREAT, THE MOTHER OF HARLOTS AND ABOMINATIONS OF THE EARTH.	Her first characteristic title is that of Mystery. God has his mystical purpose of the ages in His bride the Church and the devil responds with his whore. These two opposing and paradoxical mysteries are being revealed in these last days.
6 And I saw the woman drunken with the blood of the saints, and with the blood of the martyrs of Jesus: and when I saw her, I wondered with great admiration.	The Babylonian systems have attacked, slain and compromised the people of God throughout history.
7 And the angel said unto me, Wherefore didst thou marvel? I will tell thee of the mystery of the woman, and of the beast that carrieth her, which hath the seven heads and ten horns.	The angel of the Lord proceeds to give us a unique 'behind the scenes' look at this mystery. The other angelic explanation of the apocalyptic occurs in the prophetic book of Daniel. The beasts in Daniel are symbolic of nations, so are the beastly images in Revelations. The 7 heads are 7 greater empires and world powers. The 10 horns are 10 lesser nations. Only in the last few years of the 20th century has there been any real knowledge and accurate interpretation of Revelation chapters 17 & 18. These are exciting yet scary times...
8 The beast that thou sawest was, and is not; and shall ascend out of the bottomless pit, and go into perdition: and they that dwell on the earth shall wonder, whose names were not written in the book of life from the foundation of the world, when they behold the beast that was, and is not, and yet is.	The wonderment of the peoples who do not make it to heaven will come from the total deception and lies of this historical and current Babylonian system; the system of the world that deceives multitudes to believe in anything and everything except in the One true God of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob, through His son Jesus Christ.
9 And here is mind which hath wisdom. The seven heads are seven mountains, on which the woman sitteth.	The allegory is revealed by the angel -- the city on 7 hills was Rome or the capital of the Babylonian system at the time John the Revelator was inspired to write the book of Revelation. Rome and the mighty Roman Empire have come and gone since then. Who inherited the glory of this last Roman Babylonian system? The USA! Therefore the last days Babylon capital is Washington DC!. It is also the capitol which has inherited the spirit of the 7 hills or 7 Babylonian empires (the previous 6 plus its own). There is no other city in the world that has the political, military and economic influence as Washington DC. And there is no other city that champions the pagan religion of democracy and secular humanism ("the voice of the people is the voice of god") like Washington DC. It is the capital of the USA steeped in Masonic/Zionistic ideology symbolism that sits atop and heads the Babylonian system of the world today!
10 And there are seven kings: five are fallen, and one is, and the other is not yet come; and when he cometh, he must continue a short space.	These are the 7 kingdoms that have or will have any affairs with the Jewish people. They are 1) Egypt (Joseph, Moses and the release from bondage, i.e. The Exodus), 2)Assyria (the northern 10 tribes of Israel taken captive and "lost"- The Lost 10 Tribes), 3)Babylonia/Chaldean (the first major ransack of Jerusalem by a gentile -- Nebuchadnezzar; captivity of Daniel&Ezekiel) , 4) Persia/Medes (The story of Ruth. Cyrus allows the Jews to return to Palestine but without full national autonomy), & 5)Macedonia (Greeks) (Daniel's prophecy of Alexander the Great; the 4 Greek splinter kingdoms; the second gentile ransack of Jerusalem). Actually it really doesn't matter which empires were the first 5. What is important is the identity of Babylon in John the Revelator's day. And the corresponding identity of the final, last days Babylon. Two thousand years ago when John was inspired to write the book of Revelation the Roman Empire ruled the then known world. The one kingdom that "is" was the Roman Empire. Note the emphasis on the past-tense word "was". As mentioned, when John wrote Revelation the Roman Empire was in power. The days of Pax Romana are over. Many anti-Catholic Bible teachers in the Church today try to bring Rome back into the present time into a "Revived Roman Empire". This is totally incorrect. They do this to try to rationalize the Vatican in this prophecy. They are wrong. The only people who care about modern Rome are a bunch of Catholics, the ruling elite -- the merchants of the world (i.e. the powerful rich and masters of usury) could not care less about current day Rome. Which leads to the final, end time "kingdom" of the United States of America (interesting, in the year 2000 President Clinton was crowned "King of the World" by the African leaders during an official visit to the African continent). A "kingdom" of "short space", America has been a nation for a short 233 years to date and been a world power for about 75 years, a superpower for 55 years and, now, the sole hyperpower of the entire world since the fall of communism in 1989 (16 years to date). The Pax Romana is now replaced by Pax Americana / Zionista !!! It is here that the peoples and merchants of the world will sell their souls for mammon, sin and worldly glory; in turn spreading this message the world over. No other present day nation comes close to this level of world influence. Those who espouse the European Union as this "revived Roman Empire" are being deceived by the devil's smoke screens!!! 11 And the beast that was, and is not, even he is the eighth, and is of the seven, and goeth into perdition.	The beast is the 8th king who is the personification of the demonic principalities of the 7 Babylonian Empires of the world; he is the Antichrist!. It is he that is different from all others in that for the first time since the city-state of Ancient Babylon there is one essential ruler of the world. And here is the mind of wisdom revealed -- for the first time since Solomon, there is coming a Jewish world leader who will truly rule the world -- a Jewish American president! 12 And the ten horns which thou sawest are ten kings, which have received no kingdom as yet; but receive power as kings one hour with the beast.	This is the economic and industrial powerhouse Group of Eight or G8 (The USA, Britain, Canada, Germany, France, Italy, Japan & Russia) that will soon be the G10 or Group of Ten once China and possibly a Latin American or other European nation are included. The talk around typical "prophetic circles" points to the European Union as this 10 nation confederacy. This is wrong. The EU currently has 27 members and counting.
13 These have one mind, and shall give their power and strength unto the beast.	This G10/Group of Ten will abdicate their sovereignty to the American Antichrist.
14 These shall make war with the Lamb, and the Lamb shall overcome them: for he is Lord of lords, and King of kings: and they that are with him are called, and chosen, and faithful.	They will attack Jerusalem, Israel and the spiritual Jerusalem of the Church. The truth of Christianity will be squelched by this end time Babylonian system; deceptions and lies will prevail the world.
15 And he saith unto me, The waters which thou sawest, are peoples, and multitudes, and nations, and tongues.	The entire world is center stage.
16 And the ten horns which thou sawest upon the beast, these shall hate the whore, and shall make here desolate and naked, and shall eat her flesh, and burn her with fire.	The Group of 10 will be betrayed by Washington DC and this capital, in turn, will be destroyed. In light of the end time economic, ecological and social problems, America will pull the plug on the rest of the world to save its own skin resulting in an act of vengeance using nuclear weaponry upon the USA.
17 For God hath put in their hearts to fulfill his will, and to agree, and give their kingdom unto the beast, until the words of God shall be fulfilled.	God is in total control and His will shall be perfectly accomplished.
18 And the woman which thou sawest is that great city, which reigneth over the kings of the earth.	When the book of Revelation was written it was Rome. It is now Washington DC
Chapter 18 1 And after these things I saw another angel come down from heaven, having great power; and the earth was lightened with his glory.	It is here where many try to divide Babylon into two different Babylons. They do this to try to fit the Vatican into the Babylon scenario along with a separate "economic or Revived Roman Babylon", hence "the two Babylons". This is nonsense. There was always one Babylon and there will finally be one Babylon which was and is both religious and economic. The Lord has his one holy Bride and the devil's counterfeit is also one woman -- a detestable whore.
2 And he cried mightily with a strong voice, saying, Babylon the great is fallen, is fallen, and is become the habitation of devils, and the hold of every foul spirit, and a cage of every unclean and hateful bird.	Isaiah 21:9 also says, "Babylon is fallen, is fallen..." And the last of the Babylons, the current last days world system, will fall with the finality of God's judgment.
3 For all nations have drunk of the wine of the wrath of her fornication, and the kings of the earth have committed fornication with her, and the merchants of the earth are waxed rich through the abundance of her delicacies.	Fornication and the worship of mammon prevail in the final great Babylon.
4 And I heard another voice from heaven, saying, Come out of her, my people, that ye be not partakers of her sins, and that ye receive not of her plagues.	Christians will have some difficult choices to make in these end times as the reality of the Babylonian system is made manifest. The days of embracing Babylon and Christ are over!!! 5 For her sins have reached unto heaven, and God hath remembered her iniquities.	Iniquity doesn't last forever, there comes a time when the crescendo of sin reaches fulfillment.
6 Reward her even as she rewarded you, and double unto her double according to her works: in the cup which she hath filled fill to her double.	God's holy vengeance will be accomplished. "Vengeance is mine", saith the Lord. Hebrews 10:30
7 How much she hath glorified herself, and lived deliciously, so much torment and sorrow give her: for she saith in her heart, I sit a queen, and am no widow, and shall see no sorrow.	The system of the world has always glorified in man and not in the One, true God by Christ Jesus.
8 Therefore shall her plagues come in one day, death, and mourning, and famine; and she shall be utterly burned with fire: for strong is the Lord God who judgeth her.	The suddenness of Babylon's downfall is now possible through nuclear weaponry.
9 And the kings of the earth, who have committed fornication and lived deliciously with her, shall bewail her, and lament for her, when they shall see the smoke of her burning,	Will the kings of the earth, the rich, powerful and influential bewail the Vatican in Rome? No way. Only in the mammon driven system of the last days Babylon-- Washington DC/USA!!!
10 Standing afar off for the fear of her torment, saying, Alas, alas, that great city Babylon, that mighty city! for in one hour is thy judgment come.	The end of Washington DC.
11 And the merchants of the earth shall weep and mourn over her; for no man buyeth their merchandise any more:	The merchants of the world would never weep for modern Rome, only for the political/military/money capital of the last days Babylonian world, Washington DC.
12 The merchandise of gold, and silver, and precious stones, and of pearls, and fine linen, and purple, and silk, and scarlet, and all thyine wood, and all manner vessels of ivory, and all manner vessels of most precious wood, and of brass, and iron, and marble,	The foundation of this end time Babylonian system is pure materialism; things, things and more things. People, who are made in the image of God, are simply a means to their world conquest end.
13 And cinnamon, and odours, and ointments, and frankincense, and wine, and oil, and fine flour, and wheat, and beasts, and sheep, and horses, and chariots, and slaves, and souls of men.	The souls of men is the ultimate price!
14 And the fruits that thy soul lusted after are departed from thee, and all things which were dainty and goodly are departed from thee, and thou shalt find them no more at all.	"For all that is in the world, the lust of the flesh, and the lust of the eyes, and the pride of life, is not of the Father, but is of the world." 1 John 2:16
15 The merchants of these things, which were made rich by her, shall stand afar off for the fear of her torment, weeping and wailing,	"Ye cannot serve God and mammon.", Jesus says in Matthew 6:24.
16 And saying, Alas, alas, that great city, that was clothed in fine linen, and purple, and scarlet, and decked with gold, and precious stones, and pearls!	How can a city as great as Washington DC fall?
17 For in one hour so great riches is come to nought. And every shipmaster, and all the company in ships, and sailors, and as many as trade by sea, stood afar off,	One nuclear bomb is all it takes !
18 And cried when they saw the smoke of her burning, saying, What city is like unto this great city!	There has never been a world power like Washington DC (USA).
19 And they cast dust on their heads, and cried, weeping and wailing, saying, Alas, alas, that great city, wherein were made rich all that had ships in the sea by reason of her costliness! for in one hour is she made desolate.	Only the capital of capitalism in Washington DC makes people rich. Those who look to the Vatican in this role don't know what they're talking about and in many cases are simply bigots.
20 Rejoice over her, thou heaven, and ye holy apostles and prophets; for God hath avenged you on her.	The day of the devil's counterfeit to God's holy plan will come to an end.
21 And a mighty angel took up a stone like a great millstone, and cast it into the sea, saying, Thus with violence shall that great city Babylon be thrown down, and shall be found no more at all.	The operative word here is "violence".
22 And the voice of harpers, and musicians, and of pipers, and trumpeters, shall be heard no more at all in thee; and no craftsman, of whatsoever craft he be, shall be found any more in thee; and the sound of a millstone shall be heard no more at all in thee;	It will be the final, decisive fall of Babylon. Throughout the ages the previous Babylons have fallen only to rise in another "babylonian form". But the time is coming when the fall of Babylon the Great is once for all.
23 And the light of a candle shall shine no more at all in thee; and the voice of the bridegroom and of the bride shall be heard no more at all in thee: for thy merchants were the great men of the earth; for by thy sorceries were all nations deceived.	Ask yourself dear reader where the "great" men of the world are located? They are in the empires and kingdoms of the world; wherever there is big money you'll find babylonianism. The sorceries of Babylon have blinded the masses from seeing her true colors.
24 And in her was found the blood of prophets, and of saints, and of all that were slain upon the earth.	Throughout the ages the world's Babylonian system has slaughtered the people of God and been behind the senseless bloodshed of mankind. America's "supreme-law-of-the-land" of abortion slaughters one million, two hundred and fifty thousand (1,250,000) unborn little ones every year, over 45 million since abortion became the "law of the land" in 1973. . . . The atomic bombs on Hiroshima and Nagasaki vaporized innocent babies, children, women and elderly folk. In fact, Nagasaki was the Christian center of Japan before the atomic bomb. . . . The native American Indians have been decimated and oppressed from day one even to the present. Every treaty and deal made with them was broken with practically no restitution to this day. It was revealed in March 2000 that the US government was stealing from the Indian Bureau trust fund at the tune of billions of dollars. . . Whenever the poorest of the poor and the weakest of the weak are killed and abused, as listed above, the day of reckoning for the perpetrators is not far away . . . God hears the cry of current and future prophets, saints and humankind that are mercilessly slain!!!!

For the longest time Christians in America have had it both ways; America & Jesus; the red, white and blue & the cross; the Constitution & the Bible, etc., etc. But the cry of the Spirit of the Lord is, "Choose now whom you will serve!". It's Babylon or Jesus -- one or the other. The days of compromise are over. The time of decision is here!

Christians, especially those who are on government subsistence, in the military, in the "defense" industry, federal employment and other direct government ties (including institutional Churches and their 501 c3 tax-exempt status), will have to reevaluate their commitments and involvement with Babylon. May the Spirit of the Lord Jesus help you make the wise and spiritual choice.

Let's not forget the glorious work America has done throughout the world to help the suffering and needy. America has given her finest to help nations in need, especially during two world wars. There isn't a single nation on earth that has provided more freedom for more different peoples than the USA. The American accomplishments in fields ranging from medicine, technology and agriculture has done more to help the world than all other nations combined. America gives more foreign aid than all other nations. The most important aid is 6 billion dollars to the nation of Israel. And above all, the Christian missionary efforts of the Church in America are second to none. These, along with the large Christian Church presence, are all significant reasons America has been blessed. But for how much longer? Unless significant national repentance and revival come the future does not look good. God is not mocked, He sees and knows our national sins. May His mercy and grace abound in our beloved America . . . .
