Refuge Areas
In these last days the Spirit of the Lord is setting apart geographical regions throughout the United States as "places of refuge" from the coming calamities. These areas are not paradise but simply regions which will be spared the brunt of the demonic attacks that are on the horizon. In the midst of the end time ruin will come glorious spiritual breakthrough. The Spirit of the Lord is to pour out His most Holy Spirit for one last harvest of souls. The last days visit of the Lord Jesus will not be limited to any region for God is no respecter of persons but will have mercy on whom He will have mercy.
As mentioned above the Lord does and will have places where the heavens above it are open in a special way. Whereas those areas of demonic oppression will preside over a given community there will also be angelic influence in the "places of refuge".
Currently, nations around the world are making Christian national covenants to see God's blessings in their respective lands. The south pacific island nation of Vanuatu is one of them. In Oct. 2002 the leader of Vanuatu, Prime Minister Edward Nipake Natapei, proclaimed the following Christians Covenant on behalf of his nation that was broadcast on national television. Here is that astonishing covenant:
I confess on behalf of the people and the nation of Vanuatu, the sins of our ancestors whose actions and past practices of living and worship have given away our legal rights to the devil..
In the name of our Lord Jesus Christ and by the power of the blood of Jesus Christ, I renounce their covenants with evil spirits and demonic powers...
I ask you, Almighty God, to forgive us and to release us from this bondage.
I, the Prime Minister of Vanuatu, today, on behalf of the people and the republic, make this covenant with Almighty God:
1. We acknowledge you as the one and only True God;
2. We acknowledge you as the only God in whom Vanuatu stands;
3. We acknowledge the Lord Jesus Christ as our personal Lord and Savior, and
4. We acknowledge the power and work of the Holy Spirit in our lives and in the Nation of Vanuatu.
Almighty God, I ask that your favor, peace, prosperity, justice, salvation, healing and power rest upon the Republic of Vanuatu and on its people. I submit this nation into your mighty hands.
Nations, lands and local geographies that make this kind of covenant with the Lord Jesus Christ will be blessed by the Spirit of the Lord and be designated 'Places of Refuge' during the soon and coming dark days -- the days of trial and tribulation.
Would 'Christian' President Obama make this declaration openly and publicly? Don't hold your breath.
Lands of refuge and special protection are being revealed to the people of God. These lands are all over the world. Seek out the Lord dear Christian reader for your own local 'place of refuge'. Link up and covenant with other Christians and Churches to know where places of safety are located. Know whom you can trust!
One of the revealed refuge regions is southwest Texas. Centered by the city of Del Rio, the topography of this region is very similar to that of the physical nation of Israel. This portion of Texas lies in the same 30 degree latitude as Israel and approximate same altitude as the Holy Land and thus shares similar geographical characteristics: Rolling hills, shallow canyons, limestone outcroppings, shrub and small trees and an overall semiarid climate. Though the region of Del Rio, Texas only gets about 17 inches of rain per year it is home to one of the best artesian springs, both in water quality and quantity, in the entire nation! This is a literal oasis. And in these last days water is quickly becoming the new liquid gold, surpassing oil in its life-giving importance. Above all the peace of the Lord presides in southwest Texas. Ever since Spanish missionaries came to this region over 325 years ago Christianity has flourished and lifted the name of Jesus Christ.
It was on May 12, 1675 (St. Philip's day) that Spanish Catholic missionaries and explorers came to what is now known as the San Felipe springs and proclaimed a holy day unto the Lord, in turn naming the area San Felipe del Rio or Saint Philip of the River. Several years later the first church service ever conducted in Texas was held on the banks of the San Felipe springs. The ensuing dedication came with a spiritual blessing to the Del Rio area that is now being rekindled. For the Lord has chosen Del Rio and surrounding region as one of His end-time refuge areas; a place of protection, anointing, provision and rest from the coming darkness and judgment.
"Even so Holy Lord manifest your higher
purposes for the Del Rio, Texas territory in Christ Jesus'
name. We agree and confess your graceful choosing
of this area. We acknowledge your
sovereignty and our corresponding
responsibility and we worship You, the only true
and living God, the God of Abraham, Isaac and
Jacob in and through Christ Jesus of Nazareth.
Amen."
Dear fellow Christian, seek heavenly Father's face for the refuge area in your region. There will be those places all over the great land of the United States that will escape the brunt of the coming geological, social and economic upheavals.
Link up with other like-minded believers and establish spiritual contacts, relationships and friendships with each other (true community of the saints). Now is the time to determine who our people are and who we can trust! For the day will come when the enemy (the devil) will send his evil emissaries to confound and divide us, to keep us from God's best. Be on guard, for the Lord has chosen us all as His sons or daughters to carry His glory and to know His ways. Ultimately the Lord Himself is our refuge. He is our all in all and in Him do we depend regardless of physical locale or presence.
Jesus says, "Come unto me, all ye that labour and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you, and learn of me; for I am meek and lowly in heart: and ye shall find rest unto your souls." Matthew 11:28 & 29.
Seek the Lord's face for He is faithful and His timing is perfect. . . .
